Become a truck driver

At this very moment, and around the clock, coast-to-coast, north-to-south, trucks are on the road hauling life’s essentials – everything the nation needs such as food, clothing, automobiles, electronics, books, and medical supplies.  In 2006, the US trucking industry hauled 69% of the total volume of freight transported in the US.

A shortage of qualified drivers exists

It’s not a shortage of equipment or freight; it’s a shortage of men and women qualified to drive trucks.

The shortage is not due to a lack of interest.  Instead, it basic economics – the demand for professional truck drivers is growing faster than the number of new drivers entering the field.

Still dreaming of when you used to play with trucks?
