Purpose of the Shipping Instructions Sheet

When a shipment is not moving on a Carlile Bill of Lading you can create a shipping instructions sheet. These sheets are useful because inbound carrier bill of ladings often do not include the complete shipping instructions we need to ship and bill your freight correctly.

These instructions are for Carlile Transportation Systems, Inc. use and do not necessarily reflect the same instructions given to an inbound carrier. Additionally, these instructions do not replace any standard pickup scheduling processes you currently follow.

How do I use this form?

This form is to be placed in a packing slip on the shipment for Carlile’s use upon arrival at our terminal. Print the sheet using the Print Preview button and attach it to the shipment in a packing slip with the title logo facing out. Please place one copy of the form on each shipping unit.

How do I save this form for myself?

To save a copy of the form for future use, choose Microsoft XPS Document Writer or other PDF-type writer from the Print menu. Or click the button to Email a Copy to the email address provided.
