Strategically located on the tarmac, this cross-functional
facility at the Deadhorse Airport provides a multi-modal
distribution center for the entire North Slope region. Primary
service regions are the Eastern and Western operating areas
which include Deadhorse, Kuparuk, Prudhoe Bay, Milne Point, Endicott,
Badami, Nuiqsut, Alpine, and the Colville Delta.
Operating seven days per week, this facility consists of a
main 6,400 square foot freight handling and consolidation warehouse
with dock high and drive through capabilities, freeze/chill units, and
office space. To facilitate handling, our buildings open to the tarmac
providing 700 feet of frontage at the Deadhorse Airport.
Additional
structures include a 2,400 square foot helicopter hangar accompanied by
a 10' x 50' ATCO office building, a 2,400 square foot rental warehouse,
a 12,000 square foot Hangar, a 7,200 square foot Hangar, and a 16,400 square
foot Passenger Terminal with rental offices.
This facility in Deadhorse not only handles freight for the oil fields, but
also for the native villages of Barrow, Nuiqsut, Point Lay, Wainwright, Barter
Island, and other remote locations. From interlining with West Dock barge services,
to the loading and unloading of a variety of aircraft such a s C-130 Lockheed Hercules,
Boeing 727's, DC-6's, Casa 212's, Carlile is ready to meet the need and rigorous demands
of the North Slope.
