Our terminal in Seattle is the consolidation point for northbound
freight as well as the distribution consolidation center
for all southbound freight. It is the consolidation control
point for all material requiring bookings, trans-loading,
or consolidation for water forwarding to Alaska.
Over 90 employees are on hand to ensure seamless movement
to and from all points in the contiguous states and Canada.
Our customer service and pricing departments for interstate
shipments are based in Seattle. Customers utilizing this facility
have access to rail, barge, steamship and Alcan service to
Alaska. Our yard, warehouse and shop facilities are available
for special projects and emergency repairs for customers.
Built to our specifications in the Fall of 2005, Carlile has
moved into this new terminal with a 64,000 sq ft cross dock facility, a
16 acre yard, truck scale and rail spur.
