The Seward terminal is only 128 miles south of Carlile's main terminal
and corporate headquarters in Anchorage. Services offered by the Seward terminal include LTL and TL
deliveries to the local area five days a week from Anchorage and points beyond.
Seward's four full-time employees are very knowledgeable and experienced in providing
a complete range of customer service for the businesses and communities of the Kenai Peninsula,
including freight handling, tracking, receiving, and distribution.
Seward's Terminal is located on approximately 21 acres, all of which are designated
for freight handling and consolidation. For trouble-free handling of ocean-bound freight, this
area is adjacent to the Alaska Railroad Dock, which is capable of handling a wide variety of vessels
including cruise ships and barges up to 500 feet in length.
With a year-round ice-free port and barges scheduled to arrive and depart weekly, Seward is a
prime locale for receiving and distributing freight - not only to and from the Lower 48 but within the
state itself.
