Standard Liability Limits Included
The maximum liability on your shipment to Alaska will be $20.00 per pound up to a maximum of $200,000 per shipment for new goods. Household goods and used goods will have a maximum liability of $0.10 per pound up to a maximum of $5,000 per Alaskan shipment. Update with new BOL.
Increased Liability Limits Available
Additional coverage beyond Carlile’s limits of liability is available and can be added when completing your shipment in MyConnect. Simply provide a declared value and additional coverage charges can be added to your order. To add declared value to your shipment please contact Carlile Customer Service (Mailto link for customerservice@carlile.biz)
The maximum liability on the shipment to Alaska will be increased up to the declared value, not to exceed $200,000 per shipment. In no case will the declared value exceed the replacement value of the goods.
Additional coverage beyond Carlile’s standard liability coverage is available and can be added when completing your shipment in MyConnect. Simply provide a declared value and additional coverage charges can be added to your order.
The maximum declared value per shipment is $10,000 and can be purchased at a rate of $1.00 per $100.00 of declared value. A receipt/invoice/proof-of-value will be required for any claim to be paid. If no value is declared then the standard liability of $100.00 per shipment applied.
