Carlile Transportation Systems is announcing our general rate increase (GRI) effective November 11th, 2019. As a direct response to previously announced rate increases by ocean transportation providers, Carlile will implement a 4.75% GRI on shipments to and from Alaska while Intrastate shipments will increase by 3.95%. The overall impact of this rate increase may vary by specific lane, shipment weight or freight characteristics for all non-contractual customers.
