CARLILE WINS COVETED QUEST FOR QUALITY AWARD

Company recognized for industry excellence

ANCHORAGE – Carlile Transportation earned a 2021 Quest for Quality award from Logistics Management Magazine (LM) — one of the largest trade publications in the logistics industry. For nearly 40 years, the award has identified the best operators industry-wide. Carlile ranked third out of five carriers in the Western Regional LTL Carriers category and secured the top spot for value, one of five criteria used to determine the winners.

“This award is a vote of confidence from our shipping partners in the industry and our customers in Alaska. It’s a real honor,” said Terry Howard, President of Carlile Transportation.

The awards are determined by surveys sent to readers of Logistics Magazine. LM and Peerless Research Group (PRG) spent the first part of 2021 surveying readers who are also qualified buyers of logistics and transportation services. More than 4,100 responded, resulting in 142 companies earning the award.

Carlile is positioned as a top performer in LTL, one of seven categories recognized. LTL is a shipping service for relatively small loads or quantities of freight—between 0 and 10,000 pounds.

Carlile is Alaska’s leading trucking and logistics company with terminals in Alaska, Tacoma, Houston, and Alberta. The company provides trucking, ocean, air, and rail solutions to connect shippers and supply chains worldwide to Alaska.
